I stole Shane MacGowan's drink out of his hand and necked it in one in front of him. Probably 1987.

Not surprisingly he told me to fuck off and I did with the empty glass which for some unknown reason I had for a few years afterwards.

Me and a mate of mine were shining windows in downtown Sydney back in the day. We were working on this particular building and each floor had a ledge of around 3 foot that ran right around the building.

Now, in order to give the health and safety bods the slip, we'd arrive at 5 am and run the ledges. You'd make a fuckin fortune doing it that way. Anyhow, this one morning, were were out with the squeeges at around 6am when peering thru the window on the 17th floor, we saw this famous tv presenter giving this bird a right good seeing to over his desk. Naturally we watched, and once he hit the old vinegar stroke, we knocked on the glass to inform the two of them of our presence!

Shocked was not the word! Seeing these two spotty Herbert's outside grinning and giving him the thumbs up. . .

A few:

Fact #1:
I was the first tertiary student in England or Wales up before the bailiffs for non-payment of the poll tax (charges brought by the Labour-run council in Gateshead)

Fact #2:
I was at the first Nirvana gig east of the Atlantic. They were second on the bill. And Kurt came up to me at the gig but I brushed him off, as I was getting the beers back to the bird I was with. Had I known how that relationship would end a month later, I'd gladly have given Kurt her beer and chatted to him instead.

Fact #3:
I smoked some weed off of Chris Evans along with a headless Frank Sidebottom (when Evans was Frank's annoying driver rather than being an annoying personality in his own right)
